China's NMPA has approved three indications, all in lung cancer: May 2024 for second-line EGFR-mutant non-squamous NSCLC; April 2025 for first-line PD-L1-positive advanced NSCLC; August 2026 for first-line squamous NSCLC.
Two of those lung cancer indications are already on the national reimbursement list. This reflects a drug already in its commercial ramp-up phase for lung cancer.

What comes next?

Ivonescimab is being studied across more than 40 indications — biliary tract, head-and-neck squamous, triple-negative breast, colorectal, pancreatic, and urothelial cancers among them — with 60 Phase II/III trials underway, of which 16 are registrational.
