Foxconn Industrial Internet's H1 Net Profit Reaches 23.7 Billion Yuan, Nearly Doubling Year-over-Year
Taylor Wilson
Foxconn Industrial Internet (601138) reported H1 net profit of RMB 23.74 billion, up 96% year-on-year, while revenue rose 55%; profit grew nearly twice as fast as sales, meaning the company is not just selling more — it is earning more on every yuan sold.
How strong are these numbers, really?
H1 revenue hit RMB 557.86 billion, up 54.63% year-on-year — over half a trillion yuan in six months.
Net profit reached RMB 23.74 billion, up 95.99% — nearly doubling.
This means → profit growth (96%) ran almost twice as fast as revenue growth (55%). Margins are expanding, not just volumes.
Is this "real" profit — or padded by one-off gains?
Stripping out non-recurring items (one-time, non-repeatable income or expenses), net profit was RMB 22.98 billion, up 96.99%.
That tracks the headline number almost exactly — less than one percentage point apart.
In plain terms = virtually all of the profit came from core operations, not asset sales or subsidies. Earnings quality is solid.
The company earned a record haul — so why no dividend?
FII announced no cash dividend, no bonus shares, and no capital-reserve conversion for the period.
This reflects a likely decision to retain earnings for capacity expansion or second-half capital spending.
For shareholders, there is no near-term cash return; but if the capital is deployed into high-return projects, the trade-off may prove worthwhile longer term.
Can this momentum hold in the second half?
H1 basic earnings per share reached RMB 1.20 — already above half of many full-year forecasts.
Whether H1's surge continues depends on sustained order flow in core segments such as AI servers.
This means → H2 results will be the market's key checkpoint for whether this growth is a lasting trend or a one-time pulse.
