Nikkei surveyed 26 data center operators: Japan's total AI data center capacity is projected to rise from 1.1 GW at end-2025 to 4.9 GW by 2033 — more than tripling.

ABI Research forecasts: U.S. AI data center capacity will grow from 8.2 GW this year to 26.4 GW by 2031; China from 3.1 GW to 10.3 GW; Europe from 3.5 GW to 9.7 GW.
