McDonald's quarterly revenue and profit both exceeded Wall Street expectations, but its same-store sales performance in the United States did not meet analysts' targets.

McDonald's achieved a revenue of $6.52 billion during the quarter, higher than the market expectation of $6.47 billion; adjusted earnings per share were $2.83, also exceeding analysts' estimates of $2.74.

Global comparable sales grew by 3.8%, slightly below the market forecast of 3.95%. Among them, the comparable sales in the United States grew by 3.9%, which was short of the expected 4.21%, indicating that domestic consumer demand is still facing certain pressures.

Overall, McDonald's performance in cost control and overseas markets provided support for the overall results this quarter, but the customer flow and willingness to spend in the United States remain the focus of market attention.
