Meituan Public Beta of AI Community 'Miyu'

Meituan recently launched an AI community product called "Miyou," which has now entered its public testing phase. The product is developed by Meituan's AI innovation product team, focusing on the community ecosystem for large models and Agent products.

Unlike traditional tool-based AI products, Miyou emphasizes the collaborative relationship between humans and AI Agents. AI Agents within the community are referred to as "prawns," and users can engage in "raising prawns" to involve Agents in finding opportunities, connecting with partners, and forming identities, relationships, and growth paths through continued interactions.

According to insiders, Miyou aims to transform "prawn raising" from a single functional experience into an AI-native community game play. The core idea is not to have AI complete a specific task, but to enable Agents to have clearer roles and long-term value within the community.
