As of market closing, the Shanghai Composite Index increased by 0.82%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 1.21%, and the ChiNext Index gained 1.64%; the STAR 50 Index saw gains exceeding 5%. The semiconductor sector emerged as the strongest theme throughout the day, with Cambricon's market value breaking through 900 billion yuan and hitting a new historical high. Hua Hong Semiconductor experienced a 20CM daily limit up, and heavyweight stocks such as SMIC and GigaDevice saw significant increases.

In terms of catalysts, Huawei officially released the "Tao (τ) Law" today, which the market interpreted as an important signal of the acceleration of the domestic chip industry's autonomy. As a result, directions such as GPU, memory, and photolithography machines led the gains. Computing hardware also strengthened in tandem, with the PCB sector continuing its robust performance. The coal sector was active all day, with shares of Panjiang Shares and Pingmei Shares hitting daily limit up prices, and both coking coal and coke futures also reaching daily limit up prices. Alcohol, green energy, and aviation sectors were also active in tandem. Oil and gas stocks bore the brunt due to ongoing geopolitical tensions, with fuel futures falling 7.57% and the chemical sector as a whole undergoing adjustments, with ethylene glycol falling 4.43%. Lithium battery, photovoltaic, and CRO themes weakened today.

In the bond market, government bond futures fluctuated upwards, with the 30-year benchmark contract rising by 0.24%. On the individual stock level, there were more declines than advances, with over 3300 stocks across the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets trading in the red, indicating a high concentration of capital in semiconductors and a few other main themes.
