Tencent Unveils Hunyuan HY3 Preview Model

On April 23, Tencent's Hunyuan Hy3 preview language model was released and made open source. It is introduced that Hy3 preview is a hybrid expert model that combines fast and slow thinking, with a total of 295B parameters and 21B activated parameters, supporting up to 256K context lengths. This is the first model trained after the reconstruction of Hunyuan, and it is also the smartest model to date, claiming a significant enhancement in capabilities and reasoning performance in complex reasoning, instruction following, context learning, coding, intelligent agents, etc.

Tencent's Chief AI Scientist Yao Shunyu stated that Hy3 preview represents the first step in rebuilding the Hunyuan large-scale models. The company hopes that through this open sourcing and release, they can receive authentic feedback from the open source community and users, which will help enhance the practicality of the Hy3 official version. At the same time, Tencent is also continuing to expand the scale of pre-training and reinforcement learning to increase the intelligence ceiling of the models. Moreover, by deeply co-designing with many of Tencent's products, they aim to improve the comprehensive performance of the model in real scenarios and start exploring the capabilities of specialized models.

Currently, Hy3 preview has been launched on Tencent Cloud, Yuanbao, ima, CodeBuddy, WorkBuddy, QQ, QQ Browser, Tencent Docs, Tencent Enjoy, and other products as a first release. Mainline products such as WeChat Official Accounts, Peace Elite, Tencent News, Tencent Auto Stock Selection, Tencent Customer Service, WeChat Reading are also being successively launched.

Additionally, Hy3 preview supports connection to popular open-source intelligent agent products, such as OpenClaw, OpenCode, KiloCode, etc., and has been listed on Tencent Cloud's large model service platform, TokenHub.
