Trump says US-Iran talks are in their 'last stages', leading to a 6% drop in international oil prices

Brent crude oil futures fell by more than 6%, hitting $104.564 per barrel. WTI crude oil futures also fell by 6%, at $97.606 per barrel. Spot gold rose nearly 1.5%. European natural gas once fell by 7.7%.
The US dollar fell further, with the US Dollar Index down 0.25% for the day, at 99.05. US 10-year Treasury yields dropped by 10 basis points, to 4.56%.
The three major US stock indexes continued to rise, with the Nasdaq gaining over 1%.
US President Trump stated that negotiations between the US and Iran have entered the "final stage".
