Volkswagen's China JV Carizon has expanded its partnership with Horizon Robotics, securing an AI foundation-model license to build its own unified driving solution — with L3 autonomous driving slated for mass production in the second half of next year.
What did Volkswagen actually gain from this deal?
Carizon — Volkswagen's autonomous-driving joint venture in China — secured a license to Horizon Robotics' AI foundation model.
