Yushu Launches Its First Manned Transforming Mecha, Starting at 3.9 Million Yuan
YuShu Technology unveiled the GD01 manned transformer mech on May 12th, with an official starting price of 3.9 million yuan. The company claims it to be the world's first mass-produced manned mech and defines it as a civilian transport vehicle.
According to the introduction, the GD01 is fully self-developed by YuShu Technology, with a total weight of about 500kg when manned, using high-strength alloy materials and precise servo drive systems. In an upright state, it can walk like a humanoid robot, with a manned cabin on top, where users can sit in the control seat and operate it.

The promotional video also showcases several core movements: the mech walking, pushing over a brick pile with one hand, and then transitioning to a quadruped state while continuing to carry people by pushing back and down. The official statement claims that the video was filmed without any acceleration, and YuShu's founder Wang Xingxing is also shown entering the control room seat and appearing alongside the mech in the video.
Zhao Nan, an early investor in YuShu, later stated in an interview: YuShu has been exploring around its technological roadmap. The core of the mech robot is to express YuShu's superiority in sensor, controller, and engineering capabilities, which are the core technologies of robotics, to the world through a scene that easily breaks into mainstream circles. Unlike other companies, the breakthrough nature of YuShu's products themselves acts as the engine of marketing.
