Geely Unveils 4-Minute Ultra-Fast Charging and AI Battery System to Rival BYD

How does it stack up against BYD?
BYD's flash-charging system, launched earlier this year, also achieves 10% to 97% in 9 minutes — nearly matching Geely's 8 minutes 40 seconds.
The real gap is in the network: BYD plans to build 90,000 charging stations by 2028, per Deutsche Bank citing management meetings. Geely has not disclosed a specific buildout target.
